What denominations and how many of each would you suggest for a 20 player T1Million tournament.

Thanks

I guess you'd probably be looking at some form of 1K/5K/25K/100K since at least 1K, 5K, and 25K are often available. Do stacks of 10/13/9/7 or 10/8/10/7?

Starting at 2K-4K would give you 250BB starting stacks.

For 20 players then you require 200/160/200/140, 700 chips plus you may want some 500K chips for colorups.

If the 1Ks may seem wasteful, you could also consider just doing 5K/25K/100K, starting at 5K-10K is 100BB start. You could start at 5K-5K and still have 200BB start. Either way issuing 10/10/7 make T1M

For 20 players you then need 200/200/140 and add 10-20 100K (depending on buy requirements) and 40-50 500K for color ups for a 600 chip set.

Just a couple ideas off the top of my head, I'm sure others will come along and have better thoughts.

I do a two-table 1M event using 2000/4000 opening blinds (250bb) with a T1000-base set:

starting stacks:
10 x T1000
8 x T5000
10 x T25000
7 x T100000

Runs about 6.5 hours with 20-minute levels, or about 5 hours with 15-minute levels (breaks included). Events usually end prior to L20 (500,000/1,000,000)

typical set:
200 x T1000
160 x T5000
200 x T25000
150 x T100000
20 x T250k or 10 x T500k

10 x T100k chips are used to color-up the T1000 and T5000 chips, and either T250k or T500k chips are used to color-up the T25k chips (depending on which chip set I'm using).

Is there a reason why you wouldn’t just take a base T25, T10,000 structure, and add two zeros onto everything?

Thanks for the input everyone. Very much appreciated.

Don’t know of any stock sets with these values.
Was planning on ordering blank ceramic hybrids through the group buy and having custom labels made. Unfortunately life got crazy there for a while and I missed the deadline to order.
Just wanted to be prepared with with demons/amounts should another opportunity arise.
