Really not sure of their history or provenance, hoping to find some help here

I believe this article is referring to this establishment.

The link descibes how "Huset" originated, short about its owners and its opening evening but doesn't mention anything about a casino or the chips, unfortunately.

Cool chips!

Did my best trying to Google it but came up short. Like @Eriks said the article mentions just about nothing about the gambling part. True casinos apart from those owned by the Swedish state, casino cosmopol, have been banned since the 1800s or so. Resturants with license to serve alcohol can have a limited version, like a table for black jack etc. So the chips are most likely something like that. The article mentions that the name, huset, came up when one of the owners had to use the toilet when they were brainstorming for a name. Huset (the house) is also a slang/nick name for toilet in Sweden, atleast for the older generation. I can't really say it's used in that meaning a whole lot these days. Also, the resturant that housed this club was called "Munken" as in a friar. I'm pretty sure that's why they have a friar on a few of those chips. Not much, but i hope it was of some help. Cheers!

Thank you both for the replies, it is appreciated. I have been holding on to these for a very long time, thinking I would be able to research them at some point, but there seems to be very little about them out there. Have always planned maybe chopping the set up into sample sets, but I still don’t have any valuation ideas.
