- AUCTION GUIDELINES
- The highest bid at the closing time listed above will win. If there is a bid within 5 minutes of the closing time (original or extended closing time), 5 minutes shall be added to the time of the last bid, until there are no bids within the final 5 minutes. Because seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, these examples will be used as a reference.
- No Reserve. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
- Bids must be placed in whole US dollars, following the specified minimum increment amounts. The use of the dollar sign is optional. Bids using images or spelled out numbers are not valid.
- All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via Private Message/Convo. Sellers are not permitted to bid on their own auctions.
- The seller reserves the right to edit the listing to clarify statements or correct any errors.
- Once a valid bid is made, the auction can not be canceled. Bid edits and/or retractions are not permitted. Violations of this rule will result in discipline at the discretion of PCF Admins and/or Moderators.
- PCF (its Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are not responsible for any actions or outcomes that take place in this auction.
About the chips:
Up for auction are 100x St. Jo Frontier (St. Joseph, MO - 1994) Spotted Leaded Paulson Day Green SCV Primary $25s with Red and what looks like a lighter shade of Orchid spots (it’s like Paulson Grey with a bit of Orchid mixed in). In addition to the rack of chips, 39 extra primary $25s, plus one secondary hundo are included, for a grand total of 140 chips. These chips, as purchased from The Chip Room years ago, had gold foil cancellation stamps. Those hot stamps are still intact on these chips. The chips are casino used, but are in great shape, and all stand on edge. Notable are the feel good textured and shaped inlays! These chips weigh an average 9.8 grams. Please see the photos to judge condition for yourself.
In case you’re not already familiar, most of these chips have hairline cracks as a result of heavy-handed cancellation hot stamping. You can see the cracks in the photos. My group has played 8-10 games with a set of St. Jo secondaries with these cracks, and so far, none have broken apart. Don’t take my word for it, though… please check with other PCF members who own these chips to learn their experience!
*Dealer button and racks are not included in the auction.
SHIPPING - For chip safety, I’d prefer not to squeeze 140 chips into a SFRB. That said, a MFRB is a lot larger than necessary for 140 chips! Please note that I’m more than happy to combine shipping when you win more than one auction, even if the auctions don’t end on the same day.
About me:
I’ve been chipping for about 9 years, and after ChipTalk, joined PCF early on. I haven’t been active the past few years. If you don’t know me, and would like a character reference, please contact Melissa (liftapint). She’s good people, and I think possibly more well known than any of my other PCF friends here!
