SeasonStack Tools - Quick Reference Guide

Here's what's available and how to use each one.

Each tool template can be easily downloaded using a Google Drive link.

Season Structures Pack
What it is: 40+ examples of point-based season formats - time-based, milestone-based, race-to-X, takedown series, and more.
Best for: Clubs thinking through how to structure a full season and keep it fresh year over year.
How to use: Review the Read Me tab and then explore Season characteristics on the Config tab to generate a summary explanation of the Season you could run.

Payout Matrix
What it is: Pre-built grid showing cash % and LeaderBoard points for every finish position, scaled for 10-18 players.
Best for: Clubs that want a fair, transparent payout structure without doing the math themselves.
How to use: Use the matrix as a reference for tiered cash and point payouts and feel free to modify tiers as you like. You will also find some quick-use calculators for looking at payouts based on paying 3,4,5 places. Even further below that, you can use the final grid as a heat map of sorts and color code where your numbers were post-event. This is useful in coming up with a quick 'projection' of rebuys and add-ons based on registrants for future events within the same group.

LeaderBoard Template
What it is: Season standings tracker with columns for wins, cashes, bounties, and participation points.
Best for: Any club running a point-based season who wants to keep members engaged between events.
How to use: Review the template which has mock names and scores as examples. This LeaderBoard is set up using the current point system I use for my club. If you don't award participation points or other items, remove that column as needed. Missed Participation Point questions? Shoot me a DM. Those are a big deal in keeping players relevant on the LeaderBoards. I like to highlight winnings for the Season. Modify this any way you like. Tie breaks are determined by where points came from. For example, Chris and Marco each have 2.5 points, but Chris has 0.5 from a points Cash so he is ranked higher in 6th.

Treasury Template
What it is: Two-tab spreadsheet with a dashboard tracking a Winners Pool, Championship Pool, and Trophy Pool, plus a transaction ledger for full audit trail.
Best for: Hosts who want clean financials and accountability with member money.
How to use: Customize the Dashboard tab to your liking based on how your club runs. Use the 'Transactions' tab as a ledger. Log entries/registrations on the far left - allocate those dollars to type on the far right.

Structure Sheet Template

What it is: A one-pager you can send members before each event - blind structure, buy-in info, payouts, contact info.
Best for: Communicating event details professionally and reducing day-of questions.
How to use: This structure sheet template is set up for how I run my current game. Simply replace existing information with yours and as you go through that process you will see what has benefited me. Don't forget to also replace my rules and other specifics.

Player Scorecard Template

What it is: A fully customizable player scorecard that lets hosts grade players based on desirable behaviors. All scoring rolls up into a Summary Tab to allow for easy review of the whole group. Scoring categories and metrics are all customizable.
Best for: Hosts that want to create the best environment possible for their members and who want to document player engagement over time. This template is also helpful for prioritizing invites.
How to use: Review the Categories and Behaviors listed on the Configuration Tab. If you make changes, run the Apps Script mentioned in the Instructions Tab. If you do not want to make changes, you can move begin customizing each 'Player' tab for each of your players. Cell A1 in each of the Player tabs must be updated with a name to reflect on the Summary tab accordingly.

Common Questions
Will these work for a single table?
Yes, though the pointed season format has the biggest impact with 12+ players where LeaderBoard competition gets interesting.

Do I need special software?
Just Google Sheets (or Excel). All tools are spreadsheet-based.

I haven't started my club yet - can I still use these?
Absolutely. The Structure Sheet and Payout Matrix are great for launching a new club with a professional feel from day one.

Can I modify these for my club?
Please do. These are templates - adjust buy-ins, point values, blind structures, whatever fits your group.

Questions about any of the tools? Drop them in this thread or DM me.
