Hello!

I'll try to keep this short, but I'm sure I won't (apologies in advance!)... :p

I recently completed my relabeled Cash set and I'm VERY happy with it! Details: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/testimonials.10918/post-2074220

Updated (crappy) photos, showing my MSK custom plaques, custom cut cards and custom MSK dealer button:

I'll do a better posting on this Cash set a little later, including a sample set giveaway... ;)

Now, the reason for this post: I am in the middle of gathering chips for a relabelled Tournament set with the same design. Well, not "middle" - as I think I'm actually almost done... I'm just in need of one last chip color.

Here's what I've got so far:

More or less, this lineup is my "next best choice" of chips (my idea of "ideal chips" are unfortunately beyond my price stress-point).
These "Next Best Choice" chips are all Paulson THCs: A: ?; B: Boulder Station $1s; C: JACK Cincy $2.50, D: Mix of Horseshoe Gardenas, Fantasy Dogs and Fantasy CDMs; E: Mix of Horseshoe Gardenas and CDMs; F: JACK Cincy primary $1000s

I've accumulated enough of the B through F chips. I now just need to figure out the A chips (lowest denomination) and I will "need" to gather a total of 800 (or up to 1000) of these A chips.

I tried and I think I failed when I was able to gather 8 racks of the ever-controversial Mustard Roulette chips for this project.
Unfortunately they don't work for me:

Don't get me wrong - I love these Mustard Roulettes (THC and I assume leaded)! They just don't work with this lineup. Don't want to sell them, but I'm not too anxious to start another project with these either. I would be willing to trade them for something that would work with this lineup though.
What I'm thinking is: trade the Mustard Roulettes (+cash) for something in Orange (Orange, Sunrise, Orange Sherbert, or whatever in the "orange-ish" color scheme) as chip "A" (solid is preferred, but not required), and then swap out the JACK Cincy $1000 Orange "F" chips for RPC Purple $500s (which I have). This would be my 1st preference... Like this:

One other option that will work: go with Bally $1s for the "A" chip and leave the lineup as is. Like this:

If I go this route, anyone know where I can gather 8-10 racks of the Bally 1s in great condition for a fair/decent price? (Yeah, I know I should have decided this a months ago..:cautious:)

Anyone have any input/recommendations/suggestions/etc.?

Another change I could make is swapping the Boulder Station $1s to be chip "A" and then finding a new (non-solid) "B" chip (would need a quantity of 700 "B" chips).
Or... worst case, I can re-sort this lineup - IF it's possible $-wise...

Or???

In case it's needed, here's the quantity of chips I need for each chip for my ideal Tournament Set: A=800-1000, B=700, C=500, D=300, E=100, F=40

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

At this moment I'm in favour of moving your blue Boulder Station $1s to position A, and use a harvestable white LV chip for position B. Casino Royale LV, Silver Sevens, and OYO might be reasonable candidates, though CR will be tough especially if looking for NM condition.
