Please keep in mind I'm interested in ratios - not raw numbers.

If you knew you were going to be running all kinds of tournaments over time (casual & serious, lots of players & few players, rebuys & freezeouts, charity & non, etc), I'm curious what the minimum and maximum ratios you all prefer of T100 to T500s you like. Example: For every 10x T100 you're purchasing, what's the highest and lowest amount of T500's you'd purchase to go in your set? I always build mine a little higher on the T500s than I think I'll need; I'm curious how you all like to do it.

My starting stack for T100 is 15/7/7, so my ratio would be 15/7. Seven 500's are probably more than is necessary, but it makes a nice 5,000 so making the rest of the stack is easier. I've tried starting with Ten 100's, but found that wasn't enough.

I recently ordered a T500 400 chips set to build a 10/10/7/x starting stack and later add-on another rack of T100 as it added more versatile to the set being able to do T100 as well using 10/8/10/x starting stack.

What do you really want to know? For a T25-based tourney set, you're going to need more T500 since T1000 is going to be a bigger jump from T100. For a T100-based set, you can get away with less T500 since your blinds will start around 100/200.
