The accessory chips are still WIP so this is just to show off the denominated chips. The six eras represented on the denominated chips are my wife’s “favorite half” of Taylor’s discography.
Implementing some Taylor numerology, I lucked out that “tournament set” is 13 letters (Taylor’s favorite/lucky number) hence putting that on all the inlays. Otherwise the inlays are all derived from the album colors with the exception of Midnights where we chose to go with the clock imagery cause it fits better and cause it’s a nod to Swifties who are in the know on all the aesthetics and Easter eggs from that era.
T500 MTT anyone??
The font and idea for the album names layout is from the Eras Tour movie intros which gives me such goosebumps.
I love how all the chips came out but the colors are definitely a bit off from how they look on a screen. I hope for the sake of everyone’s future projects that this gets dialed in more. It’s acceptable at the price point but I also think something can/should be done about it. I’m rather colorblind and I feel like my iPhone camera has been underperforming since the last update so these photos feel a little washed out to me but I hope they show off how awesome the chips came out.
Lastly, on base color, I loved what @MrRossKeys did with the tri-pie effect here and @timinater did the work of dialing in the shades/tints.

Lastly, I wanted to take advantage of the ceramic medium to do printing on the edge which feels like a critical classic ceramic design element and I really love the complexity these chips have in large stacks from the tri-pie with the lettering which effectively becomes like an extra visual texture on the chips from a distance.
A massive thank you to @timinater for fantastic design work, to @justincarothers for facilitating the purchase, to my wife for giving my the excuse to get this set as a present to her, and to Taylor for being such a great muse and giving us your music (lol).
