I am potentially coming into possession of a hot stamping machine, and would really like to 1. Design a decent quality chip design for sale, and 2. Offer custom hot stamping services at reasonable prices for you fine folks if needed.

However, re: #1 - I cannot find anyone besides CPC who provides good quality blanks, and of course those are at 1.50-2.50 per chip. Apache is no longer selling blanks (other than their remaining stock), ceramics won’t work, most China clays are too cheap. So I’m wondering if you think there would be a market for a custom designed hot stamp chip (assuming a good design) in the $2-3 per chip range with CPC chips, or in the $1-1.50 range if someone can provide another source for clay blanks?

Tl;dr - looking for decent quality blank chip manufacturers and/or justification for $2-3 per chip hot stamp design on a CPC chip to sell

Hmmm… I recommend searching a bit on this site to see how others are/have performed hot stamp services. You can look at Key West Casino to see how others have produced a line of chips for resale.

Interesting... I love the look of hot stamps. That being said I think CPC may be your best bet. I haven't checked their prices recently but I would assume if you followed their layout for their hot stamps you could get by fairly cheap. The search bar will be your friend here. GL!

Good idea. Had looked at their website but didn’t think to look at the forum for some inspiration. Seems like they are facing the same predicament with pricing. Thanks!
