Popular Small Cash Set Breakdowns (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys & Gals,

I've been away for quite a while. Not 100% sure just yet, but I'm thinking of selling off some chips. It would be smaller Cash game sets... what are the popular breakdowns these days everyone is Looking for based on the following denominations - 1's, 5's, 25's & 100's... I potentially could be persuaded to mix in some frac's in 1 of the sets.
Anyway, curious what the wants and needs are out in the chipping community?

‘Small cash game’, there’s a lot of variation, most is on the # of $5s I think:

100x 0.25
200x $1
200-400x $5
60-80 x $25
20-40x $100

This is the way.

My set has non-denominational fracs (to allow for both .25-.50 and .50-1 games), and I use $20 chips instead of $25 (for ease of buying in/rebuying), but this is what I landed on as well when I got my 1 table cash set.

Yes, I like 4 racks more too, but I do recall a thread where talking about ideal sizes for meet ups and considering the travel 300 5s was what was suggested.

Boom. 4 sold.

But since OP is asking for a ‘small’ cash set, I think @buffalojim is probably right with a 600 set and 80x $25s.

If it was a ‘normal’ cash set, then 3/4 racks of 5s. Or PCF size, then a limit set of $5s in the middle.

I saw your CDI98 thread. Great chips!

About breakdowns, a 0.50/0.50 or 0.50/1 game will never need 100 fracs. 40-60 will be enough per table, which would allow you to get a couple extra barrels of $5 in there.
