Entered my first major (to me) multi-day tournament event. Never done a satty before...

Starts out with a $65 satellite event, which earns your entry into a $250 qualifier, then onto a $1100 ME with 200K gtd (I think).

My question is whether I'm thinking about this correctly when logging it?

On my poker app, I logged in the $65 entry, then on completion, I entered that I "cashed" for $250, which is the equivalent value of the prize. That $250 goes into a "cyber" version of my BR, which will get spent on my entry into the qualifier. When I enter the qualifier, I plan to say that my entry is $250, and if I get through, I'll indicate I cashed out for $1100. Etc...

Is this the correct way to do this, or should I be thinking about this differently?

A couple side notes (from my first satty experience)

My stack (w/ 12 bb) was boosted when my AA (on the button) ran into two shoves AIPF ahead of me (both with AK). That helped propel me into the big tournament stack (w/ 150 entries, top 30 moved on).

Witnessed some of the worst poker play in my life... Guy to my left had no clue, and started swearing at the dealer when he tried to politely explain some basic rule infractions to him (string betting). Then when he mucked his bb 3 separate times (when it was limped to him), not a single person spoke up to offer advice. You just don't treat the dealers like that... The douche even got up and complained to the floor that he was being harassed by the dealer, tried to claim the dealer was rude. The entire table backed up the dealer.

Then on the bubble, there was 1 person all-in (at risk), and 5 callers pre-flop (at the table next to ours). If the AIPF busts, the tourney is over, we all move on. There is ZERO benefit to improving your stack. One moron at this table, shoves post flop and scares away EVERYONE else, so that he could take on the AIPF guy by himself? Not sure if AIPF guy won the hand... Of course it would have been a long walk to his car (in the parking lot) had he screwed that up for someone.
