Managing tariff codes is what I do for my job so I have some knowledge of this.

First of all, the tariff code that the AI came up with seems to apply to board game pieces packaged with their board playing surface (such as a chess set). I believe the correct tariff code for the toppers would actually be 5907.00.1500, which applies to "Textile fabrics otherwise impregnated, coated or covered; painted canvas being theatrical scenery, studio back-cloths or the like: Laminated fabrics specified in note 9 to section XI: Of man-made fibers: Other". This is based on customs ruling HQ 965134.

This would mean the base tax on each unit is 8%. Currently, the sum of all of the taxes for importing from China would be around 63%. The current 90-day trade agreement between China and the US is expiring on 8/12. I'm expecting the China-specific tariff to go up, but there is really no telling what the new tariff will be set as of now.
