I find the prices to be high, but they are at least in sizeable lots. From my limited experience, you really, really (no really) don't want to gather them slowly and try to colour match.

I bought a set of over a thousand locally and saw another small set on Craigslist near my Sister. I could have used a few more of a couple colours, so asked her to grab them. I think there were four colours in the small set - none of them matched.
