@softchewy mentioned it in a sales ad from @Pinkdan :

"After checking weights, I suspect this change did coincide with the removal of lead and color change Paulson made to Radiant Red.
The newer version $5s are ~9g and the older original Radiant Red $5s are ~9.4g
Best guess is the older ones have some lead content."

I personally love the 412 two tone pattern, the three colors evenly spaced does it for me.

I just wish there were more stamps like it, especially $5s
