Probably not if they saw that pile of them
Obviously book value here is ten times too high, or more. When the Forty Grand chips first surfaced, they were released very slowly and were passed off as Nevada chips, Tahoe I think. They were highly though of, and still are. But now we know they are Cali chips, and that there are a decent enough amount of them that they are not worth $50 each. Very cool, and totally worth $2 each. Good buy for whoever got them!
