You need to get to 90 posts so you can access the meetup/home games forum. Most PCF meetups are 90+% mixed game players.

It's long past time to get an Iowa meetup organized. I'm definitely in to help and may be able to procure an excellent site in Cedar Falls.

There's really nothing better than a meetup! Well-rounded people that love a great atmosphere and friendly competition. And everyone knows how to run a game, shuffle, deal, calculate a pot, etc. Games run so effortlessly and just super enjoyable playing and sharing life/stories. And the games!! @IowaHoldem ...not sure if you've ever played Draw2maha, Tahoe Pitch & Roll, Scarney, etc...but you would be hooked for life. These games make PLO seem boring. I know, weird...

Yeah, my brain hurt the first weekend of getting whipped through all kinds of games/variations. Then, there's literally no turning back.
Don't forget the King of Degen games - Derailment!
Taught it to my locals Friday night and we played until almost 3AM. Got 'em hooked!!!
