It has been brought to my attention that @greenchip's last bid may not be valid.
I declared greenchip the winner based on....
The prior bid was placed at 11:29pm... Which extended the auction by 5 minutes.
Greenchip's bid was placed 5 minutes later.
I'm on a phone and can't "mouse over" or hover over the times.
But if that was a valid bid depends on how you interpret the rules of the auction.
In the OP of every auction, you can see the rules.
In rule #1, you can read how the auction can be extended. There is a part with a link to "these examples." When you click that link, these additional rules are shown:
Since seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, the following examples will be used as a reference. If a post time says x minutes ago, mouse over it to see the timestamp. To my knowledge, this is only possible with a mouse or trackpad.
In this auction, the close time was 11:30pm Eastern.
Does that mean a bid at exactly 11:30pm is valid? Or is it too late?
Does this mean that the last possible second for a bid to be valid is 11:29 and 59 seconds? And 11:30:00 is late, and not valid?
I always thought that bids at 11:30 are still valid. If so, that would make greenchip's bid at 11:34 still valid, since it was made 5 minutes after the 11:29 from @TheCollector25
If the auction is extended by 5 minutes (which applies in this case), does the next bidder get the full 5 minutes to make a bid, or do they get 4 minutes 1 second at the least and 4:59 at the most?
I welcome any and all opinions, especially opinions from anyone who placed a bid.

- If the close time is 3:00pm, any bid at 2:56pm up to and including 2:59pm is valid and extends the auction for another 5 minutes from the last bid.
- If the close time is 3:00pm, a bid at 2:55pm does not extend the auction.
- If the close time is 3:00pm, and a bid is placed at 2:56pm, the auction now closes at 3:01pm.
- Bids at the close time are not valid bids.
