Not tigers. The tigers weren't even zygotes swimming around in their parent's "nether regions" when these came to the world.
[EDIT, I desperately tried to find a clip from the episode of the late-80s, early 90s British sci-fi sitcom "Red Dwarf" titled 'Backwards' where the crew winds up on a planet where things are happening in reverse. The cast proceed to discuss their inevitable future if they are stuck on this world:
- Lister: We can't stay. Look, I'm 25 now. In 10 years time I'll be 15! I'll have to go through puberty again, backwards!
- The Cat: Imagine that. Your gajimbas will suddenly rise back into your body and the next thing you know, you're singing soprano in the school choir!
- Lister: And worse than that, in 25 years I'll be a little sperm, swimming around in somebody's testicles! I mean, pardon me, but that's just not how I saw my future.
This question immediately made me think of this scene!
(Only partially related, Red Dwarf, especially the first six seasons is some of the most clever TV I've seen. It's a shame it was relegated to PBS in the early run, and has only become a cult favorite in recent years. I was introduced to it by a friend who was going to grad school in London in the gap between series four and five and was just starting to appear on DVD here in the states.)
