I'm trying to build a set of those so I'm really interested, but if more than a barrel have the lines it would drive me crazy.

If you're talking about the rack checks, that can usually be cleaned off with a magic eraser. The rack check is usually surface cosmetic and doesn't damage the inlay, but I can't tell here.
