The breakdown makes perfect sense for a micro/small stakes game. Where $1 face value = 1¢
($100 chip = $1)

Gets costly to expand lol. Going from $1-$2 to $2-$5 is fairly easy. But for you, those high denoms get pricey! Makes sense why you chase the 25ks so often!

My favorite part is getting really nice and pricey $5 chips that are worth only 5¢ in the game.

I do exactly the same with my Aztars! Had to switch from the MOs to the INs though, as the $100 got a bit too pricey in relation to the "on table" value
