I guess it depends on how badly you want "authentic" chips vs. how fast do you want a playable set.

If you have a game(s) planned within a few months, then get whatever chips you can, and make a set.
If you have time, and really, really want the melons, 100s, etc... Then wait. They will eventually come.

Also, don't be afraid to make an offer amount in your OP. Research going rates, ask around if you need to.
Wanted Ads have a history of being more successful when they include an offer price. Because if anything, it gives people some expectations when they PM you.
