Is there a standard color for 5k chips and above? (1 Viewer)

it seems like most places besides california follow the standard

1s white/blue
5s red
25 green
100 black
500 some shade of purple
1k orange or yellow

but for the 5k and above it seems like there's no standard as i've seen brown, silver, grey, white, pink etc

Some places have standards set by the gaming commission. Others don't. Pretty sure in AC, 5ks have to be Grey.

There are a few jurisdictions that require a grey $5000 and a blue $25,000. Some require that the color (and chip) chosen by the casino be first submitted and approved.

If you're going to do customs, pick whatever base colour you want, as long as it works with your colour progression.

Varies in Vegas. Local casinos use brown $5k and are 43mm oversized.

Seems Midwest and AC use grey $5k.

So pick your favorite color.

Brown: Caesars group properties (except Cromwell and Linq), MGM group properties (except Aria, Bellagio, NYNY, and Park MGM), Palms, Rio, Venetian/Palazzo

Grey: Cromwell, Linq, NYNY, Orleans, Park MGM

Metallic silver: Resorts World

Orange: Circa, D

White: Aria, Bellagio, Golden Nugget, Mirage, Sahara, TI, Wynn

I always feel like yellow 1ks and orange 5ks are so cool and the opposite looks backwards. I don’t know why

the lodge's 5ks are pink it seems

kinda weird seeing pink as a 5k my brain is used to seeing them as 2 or 2.50
