Good day,
I would like to introduce myself to you all. I am 44 years old and I live in the city Groningen (Northern part of the Nethetlands) I am for more than 20 years a chip collector and a few people from PCF know me already. My first set I bought were Bud Jones chips v7 and my favourite were in 2003 the Maxamillion Bud Jones set.
I had more than 2400of those Max's including 27 of the very rare purple 500's. I like them much more than the Paulson chips but when I saw in 2004 the Bourgogne et Grasset Dragonara sets which were sold at Apache (If I am not mistaken) I knew which brand chips would became my favourite. Besides that I was playing whith bg Ceramics at sit and go tournaments in the Holland Casino during 2003 and 2008 in Holland Casino Groningen and Holland Casino Enschede. I really like the texture and heaviness and quality of those bg chips.
I worked as a croupier for a fun casino from 2003 til 2008 in the Netherlands as well which was very nice. Besides collecting bg casino chips I also have a nice Abbiati poker table.
Besides collecting bg chips I am also a big fan of the bg plaques. I own a few nice sets bg sets already.
I would like to play some more poker next couple of months and I also would like to swop experiences about playing poker tournaments.
Moreover if there are more PCF members who like to talk about bourgogne et grasset chips/plaques or professional casino tables (Caro,Huxley and Abbiati) or professional card shufflers ( Shuffle master/shuffle King) I would love to talk about it.
Have a nice evening and looking forward to get in contact with other members.
Best regards,
Frank
