Had a lot of fun watching the HCL MDG last night. Wonder if anyone else tuned in and had anything to say about it.

I for one am happy Keating made a comeback after his sick bluff early in the night. Getting QQ to fold but JJ to call on a perfect river card to blast feels like a good spot for him. Texas Mike with a 85% VPIP and ending the night up 1.5M is sick! Steve ran horrible and when he made hands just talked his opponent out of paying him off. Jack was the supposed dark horse but after a big cooler against keating flopped heart Nut Flush vs rivered trips and Qh blocker and rivered straight vs Rivered boat against steve sucked, hoping to see him come back stronger Wednesday. I absolutely hate Peter... getting up 1M early in the stream and completely locking up the whole night, at one point he stepped away from the table for what felt like 2 hours was sickening. PAV was probably one of the better players at the table making some sick folds and giving tons of action just shriveled up after he became short stack. Erick spinning 25k from the satellite and ending up 300k basically turning 25 -> 1.3 million was sick to watch, but I heard he's in debt LOL. Lastly Airball coming in for the last 15 minutes playing 2 hands winning 400 k and then the game breaking was so funny. Excited for the next game!

Doug Polk reported that Daniel was playing. Is he full of poop?

He reported that Alan Keating called him out, but he never confirmed or stated that Daniel was 100% playing. I hope he makes an appearance for sure and with HCL partnering with GG poker there is a higher chance but nothing has been confirmed.

Watched a little last night when I was overlabeling some chips.

This river bluff by Keating was really impressive. Surprised he got it through with his table image vs someone like Texas Mike (+ he showed which and Texas Mike just laughed it off):

Steve just looked like a wounded animal when I watched (he was down big) and was dejected vs his usual demeanor.

Erick played the most ‘normal’ conventional poker I think and was solid, vs some of the crazy loose calls/bluffs etc.

Will watch the highlights later

If not for a river Suckout he would have been up about $750k.

Did anyone notice the cards in play for this game?

Very distinct face cards that I did not recognize.

Some new Faded Spade version?
Something else?

Pretty sure they transitioned to RF Poker cards a couple months back

I knew they were using rfid cards and a new rfid table about a year or more ago.

Never heard of RF. Looks like the same rfid system Polk uses for The Lodge according to their web site.

Cards are listed for sale on their site, but no pictures of the card faces appear anywhere, Google included.

I don’t notice any obvious difference between the two decks. Both have black backs with custom HCL branding.

I was mostly curious as to what brand of cards they were. The face cards were unique.

Faded Spade RFID cards with custom backs is my guess.

Those faces look similar to Faded Spade. Could Faded Spade and RF Poker be working together? They both have The Lodge listed on their sites as using their RFID cards.
Nevermind I am confusing these cards with cards used in another game/stream.

Doesn't look like the Faded Spade font. It appears that they're the same RFPoker cards they've had on stream for quite some time now with slightly different face artwork.
