I've been listening to Stern for years now. My favorite Stern segements are staff fighting, anything Ronnie, ETM, young Artie, Sal and Richard, Sal and his wife, and Scott Salem. The show has evolved and Stern gives great interviews, which is entertaining in a different way but none of this is important. What I really want to know is if anyone here listens to Stern and if anyone caught the Fist Fest segment. Holy hell! The segment was revolting but offered humorous bits throughout. If any of you heard it please share your thoughts.

That one was a little too much for me. I got disgusted and put music on. Then when I went back I caught some of the Chelsea whatever her name is interview and I didn’t expect she’d be interesting and she wasn’t. Just a pretentious spoiled famous person. And Howard just talked too much during that one. He’d ask a question then answer it 3 or 4 times himself. That day was a toughy for Howard. He usually kills the interviews

I don't normally listen to Stern but I might be interested to tune in from time to time if the interviewee is interesting.

Is satellite radio the only place to listen to him these days?

I have enough shit to listen to that I'm not interested in paying for content.

I've been listening to Stern since 84-85 when he was on in the afternoon on 92.3 K-ROC. I still log some time with the show each week but I missed the segment you are asking about. But now I'm intrigued and will have to catch it on the replay.

Daily Listener.... love anything with High Pitch or Sal and Richard...

Miss many segments as my drive is only like 15 minutes. But somehow with replays all weekend I feel like I get the key parts.

Sirrius Satellite is the place.

I'm not a Handler fan either and tuned out during her segment but you bailed on Wolfie's audio? Shame.

Daily listener for 25yrs. I'm always at least a day behind. You can download completed shows on the app in the afternoon/evening and start/stop/skip segments at your leisure (plus all commercials edited out).

Sour shoes is the greatest. ....Noine, Noine, Noine, Noine, Noine, Noine!

Yeah he's insanely talented

I used to listen sometimes and agree he is a great interviewer. I used to really enjoy Artie too. Here in Detroit Howard could never get over our local morning show that I am sure emulated his show quite often. Because of the local content I always listened to that show and still do via podcast.
I think I will pass on “fist-fest” some of that stuff is too much for me. And I always hated the in show fighting, seemed so fake to me. I actually remember Howard when he got his start here in Detroit on WWWW 106.7!
