Do people have strong feelings either way about mixing horseshoe Cincinnati and Cleveland chips together? Do people's opinion change depending on if my set has say 100% of the $100 denomination chip from one casino and the rest the other casino vs my 25s being 50% Cincinnati and 50% cleveland?

Edit: also thoughts on mixing primaries and aecondaries in the same set?

I say who cares what others may think. It's a hobby and you should do what you desire. Fulfill your interests.

I mix Jacks like that already.

for actual play (vs collecting), I would have no issue mixing, as long as the colors work well together.
Many set can be improved color-wise by mixing or relabeling IMO.

But personally I would never use 2 different chips for the same denomination, unless the colors and spot patterns are exactly the same. I’m not a fan of visual confusion on a poker table, especially if the felt design is busy or distracting already.
