So i am trying to put together a racing set for my hometown. I want 5 denominations. Either 1/5/25/100/500 or 5/10/25/100/500. I'm concerned about the amount of yellow... I started with design 1 - 3 - 6 - 7 - 8. Then i created 2 to avoid the same yellow in 3 chips. Then 4 to see what it looked like, but really i like 3. 6 has a lot of yellow in it, so 5 i designed to get a little more green back in my 25 denomination. 7 is, well i like 7. 8/9/10 are all stretch's as it's hard to get something like a set of silks i can find.

The inlay was shamelessly stolen, so i need to get something done up that i can use without copywrite fears, and that has denominations (still contemplating the $1/$10 issue with the blue). If you do inlay graphics work, PM me with what you want for some of your time...

So for Chip 1/2 it's based on this... American Pharaoh

Chips 3/4 are based on Whirlaway

Chip 5/6 are based on Keen Ice (big upset!)

Chip 7 is base on Man O'War

Chips 8/9/10 are based on either Arcangelo (last year's winner of the Travers Stakes) or 10 Most Wanted... this one is the one i'm least sure of. I want purple of some sort... not sure what to do. Might need a while / purple chip?

Pattern 3v12 i think it's called, with regular white/purple.

I think I would use the jockey mold with this set.

If someone didn't tell me it was a jockey I'd think it was an old fashioned guy on ski's. Horse Head is perfect. Fine details are hard to see online but each horse head has a bridle and fine detail. Perfect chips as a former exercise rider I am jealous!

Perhaps flip the horse shoe from upside-down to the right side up?

For purple, how about California Chrome (purple & green) ?

Lots of good green choices too, like Giacomo (green & pink), Charismatic (green & yellow), and Silver Charm (green & yellow) . Maybe Justify or War Emblem (both green & white).

Yes, to catch the luck... :) I just need to get a designer who i can work with. I agree on the jockey, i think they look best on solid chips where they are the focus. Horses are the way to go for me on this set.

I'm trying to keep the horses winners of the Travers Stakes in Saratoga NY, but i will take a look. the green and yellow gives me pause because these are the "green" chips... Green and pink i will play with for sure.

I love the idea and the chip patterns and colors! Well done.

I vote HHR for the cash set. And jockey for the solid tourney set (ahem).

HHR all day...best mold.

I see you have colors you're trying to reference. I like your chip #3, but you should choose a different blue...maybe retro blue? Or Blurple?

I encourage you to get a sample set from CPC so you can lay out the colors in front of you before committing.
