Hi and Welcome

A bit confusing on what are you actually looking for? Is it a Tourney set with $10/20 buyin or are you playing Cash $1/3 stake

i want to buy a nice poker set from the states
Also what is your budget and shipping will also cost quite a bit so do take that into consideration.

Nice can be very Expensive around here

Lastly, a must ask question to all Dutch : Are you Poppin :cautious:

Tourney with 10 euro buy in an the price range is between 300 and 600 euro

400 chips is plenty for a 10-player tourney. A T25 base is widely used. A nice breakdown would be something like:

T25 x 120
T100 x 120
T500 x 50
T1k x 90
T5k x 20

T10K - 20K starting stacks using 25/100/500/1K/(5K):

12/12/5/6/(2)

€300-600 is a decent budget that will easily land you a nice ceramics/high end plastics set or possibly some sort of solid hot stamp clay set, though probably not Paulson.

Yea but i was thinking of doing like The big game for 10 euro u get 300 worth of chips and u can buy in like till 30 euro and then play the game out till it finishes i was thinking of buying a 600 case of 200t1 200t5 125t25 50t100 25t500

Most when they first come here (myself included) don’t know how to structure a good breakdown. The one in my above post simply works best (one might have a preference to balance the bigger denoms slightly different) and deviating from it will render a lesser set.

Which denoms you prefer doesn’t matter though if you’re playing tourney style. And unless I’m misunderstanding, that’s what you’re doing. Just make sure to get an efficient breakdown. There’s absolutely no point in having a single chip more than you need for starting stacks of the first two to three denoms.
