I’m not great with tournament structure/breakdowns, but trying to get better. I’ve had these PAD chips for several years and I really like the colors and feel of the chips. I’m trying to finish old projects and would like advice here.

I usually go with a 400/300/200/100 set, so I can fit them all in a birdcage. I realize this isn’t the most efficient and before I do that here, would be interested in feedback. Would like to have a STT set of these. What would you add or cut to get there and what would your final breakdown be? I’m not into relabeling so the $1000 is the highest chip here. Thanks!

Currently have:
400 x $25
75 x $100
235 x $500
24 x $1000

So you could do 9 stacks of 8/8/4/7 with 75/75/50/75.

So I think you need to add 50 of the T1000 no matter what you do and you can sell off a ton of T25 and T500. You have just enough T100 to fit a 9 player STT. If there are 25 * T5000 to be had somewhere, that would help too.

But the way to figure out your surplus/deficit is to identify your preferred stack, multiply it by your capacity (since you said STT I bassumed this would be 9 or 10 players) and compare the result to what you have.

Hope that helps.

For a 10 player T25-base set (10k stacks, 12/12/5/6), I recommend:

120 x T25
120 x T100
50 x T500
75 x T1000 (15x used for T25/T100 color-up)

Normally I'd add 35x T5000 for optional larger stacks.
