Welcome! I'm in Ventura County, went to college in SB. If you have any luck on a home game, I'd be interested also.

Welcome to PCF! Just south of you in Orange County, home to numerous forum members and game hosts, including myself. I'm positive there are also good games in LA. It all comes down to the stakes you prefer.

Do you have any chipsets yet?

I'm finding that the LA area is a lot of higher stakes or gimmicky type games, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. Lots of 2/5 and 5/5, bomb pots all over the place, etc etc. Just want a chill game, if I want higher stakes I'll probably go down to the Bike.

You’re not wrong. Most games in LA tend to involve higher stakes and a lot of circus stuff that only the deepest pockets can handle. Orange County however, tons of chill games. The one I host is usually a 25¢/50¢ up to a max of $1/$2. We reserve anything higher for a trip to the casino.

Well, if you ever do this on a Friday or Saturday I might be down, anything else is a bit difficult with an hour+ drive back home.
