HI Guys -- Nice to be here. I'm actually a "lapsed" member. I was on this forum in the late 2000's/early 2010's. The poker bug has recently hit me hard again, in large part due to the new found popularity of poker in my office by the younger generation. I've collected a few sets over the years -- ASM hot stamps, Paulson's non-denominational Pharaoh's, Milano's China Clays, Nevada Jack's and most recently Apache's Empire ceramics.
What really got me into it again was the realization that my Paulson's set had appreciated so much over the years. By chance, I went to eBay to see if I could purchase some loose Pharaoh's that I'd lost over the years and was shocked at the prices. This prompted me to immediately retire my Pharaoh's.
That being the case, I'd love to get advise from you guys on the best non-classicpokerchip.com clay that you guys can recommend. I know Paulson is out of the home gaming scene and I'm not really in the prepared to fork out over $2k (1000 chip set) for classicpokerchip.com clays at the moment. Aside from the china clays, is there any other clay alternative out there?
Looking forward to hearing from fellow chip enthusiasts!
