Hi everyone.
I'm back after a 2.5 year absence.
Looking at recent posts, I'm seeing familiar names, good banter and lots of beautiful chips.
I'm gonna pull off the bandaid and say it straight:
The main reason for my absence, and also my return, is it's been a tough couple years health wise for my wife. She has an extremely rare, inoperable brain tumour. The good news is that treatment seems to have shrunk it, with a high likelyhood of it stopping from growing.
I've stopped playing poker, sold my beautiful table, and now I have to sell some chip sets to help cover expenses.
(1 year off work, out of town stays etc)
For now I'll be getting caught up, will admire some chip pron and remind myself I cannot buy. Get updated on site functionality etc.
Obligatory chip pron, dated to prove my account was not hacked. Apologies these photos are not up to my usual standards, having lost my table, poker room and overhead lighting.
