Halloween Decorations? (1 Viewer)

It’s just the start right now, but we normally get some ghost and ghoulies and skellies out there.

All out is a relative term - lol. But yes, we decorate for Halloween and Christmas.

Some folks in my ‘hood go all out and it’s really cool. If you are on a busy street (lots of kids), it will make your house a popular stop.

I stay away from really scary or gorish stuff though as it can mess with the young ones, toddlers and such. Seen little one’s walk away crying from some houses and that’s no fun.

Edit: A house in my old neighborhood had a projector showing MJ’s thriller, with smoke machines, etc. Made all the kids dance for candy. 15-20 kids at a time in the driveway dancing - lol, it was awesome!

Man, what great memories! I love that idea.

Yes, my kids and wife have “Halloween spirit”. I had my 3 year old at Home Depot a couple weeks ago and freaked him out by activating the animitronic ghouls. I did a 20 foot one and he screamed “You’re a bad daddy!” At the top of his lungs much to the delight of other nearby fathers and to the dismay of the mothers.

Our house just has some seasonal lights and glowing spiders. But I aspire to one of those giant skeletons that are always sold out.

To be transparent, I'm trying to use this thread as peer pressure to go out and justify buying a projector lol
