Not Mine Grand Vics (1 Viewer)

Seems overpriced for bicycle tire RHCs when new HSI and Jacks can be had for not much more.

They don’t look like bike tires to me, plus I much prefer RHCs in that condition as opposed to nasty and flea-bitten ..

Yep -- the primaries have never been sought after, at least in part because they are generally in very poor shape. Pfugly spot colors and little contrast don't help.

I loved my bike tires....

Yup. The only pictures of the chips standing on edge are wedged between or up against other chips, presumably to hold them up.

Also, meh.

I’d take well used, “rounded” condition RHC any day over the less used, but flea-bitten alternative..

I dont know....I guess they could be rounded over further?? But not by much.

Chips can get a lot thinner than this, believe me  . The nice thing about edges in this condition is their uniformity, lack of flea bites, and shuffling.

The chips are nowhere near “worn” condition, which I generally associate with real bike tires. When they get really thin, they actually start to look like tires.

To make my point more clear, what would you rather have, a barrel with uniform wear or a barrel that looks like this?

In the wear spectrum of chips, RHCs go from mint & sharp, to slightly worn, to nasty and flea bitten, to evenly worn. The condition actually gets worse before it gets better again. The only way to get from step three to step four is play on the casino tables.

The GV pri $5s are the most worn chips I've ever owned at least. I did kinda like them, but 80c/chip is too much imo. They are bicycle tires for sure. I didn't mind the feel to be honest, but I wouldnt pay that much for them.

Bah, too many snobs here. You don’t know worn chips. These are bike tires:

and I’d still take these over flea bitten RHCs, but that’s just my opinion ;)

I'm not sure these are much better shape than those pictured there, lol.

Still I kinda liked these, but they are really worn.

I think these are poker players chips.
Not poker collector put-them-on-a-shelf but honest to god let’s-play-some-poker poker chips.
They have been prayed over, cursed at, thrown around, shuffled, and generally lived the life that they were designed for to the fullest, and still have more to give.
