I have an extra 25¢ and $1 chip from the Golden Nugget 'G~N' house mold. These are made by TRK and are the only house mold they ever made (to my knowledge).

Hi RT, Love these chips! That $1 is in great condition. As a note, I too thought the GN mold was made by TRK, but awhile back, I confirmed with Jim Blanchard that these were actually made by Burt Co. Not sure why they were attributed to TRK.

Interesting. I read that they were made by TRK, but I'll have to check up on that. The Chip Rack says they were made in 1975. How long was Burt Co around? They sure feel like TRKs. PAZ also said these were TRK... hmm

I believe that James C' book and also Doug S said it was TRK, but when i wrote to Jim, this is what he wrote:

"The mold was made in 1953 as I recall and never left the factory until the mid 1980's. Any chips made by TR King in the 70's were made on a different mold. Paulson received the mold from and I'm sure they made chips on it in the 1980's."


Also, I have a few GN mold chips that wer from the late 50's early 60s.
