I’ve been looking through the Chip data base trying to find which sets have THC for all denoms. I’ve found a few like Empress, Aurora Star, and PCA. But why do some sets like Jacks have THC only in the $1 and $2.50 denom? I know there are solid color THC that people mill and create custom sets but if I’m trying to get a full THC set are those the only ways to go about it, other than mixed sets. Looking for Cash set denoms.

Tigers, RPC which are NAGB chips. Expensive, but reasonably attainable depending on the breakdowns. There's definitely THC cash sets that hit the marketplace every few months, but they aren't very common. Especially to get a full set in one go. Tough to find a set you like from Chip DB and then actually build a set unless you have the cash and patience.

Solids are typically the cheapest and easiest option to put together or wait and try to snag one when it's goes up for sale. But could be tomorrow and it could be 2 months.

Ah I overlooked that. Thanks for the catch. Do you think it’s just the way the casinos request for their sets? Because the sizes are different and they stacks would be off.
Sizes are the same. Or very very close. They're both 39mm and the same thickness depending on the wear.

Oh I thought RHCs were 36mm? Do they make them smaller as well? I thought I saw that somewhere. In that case do they feel different because of the different mold? I don’t own any rhc in volume. Only singles.

They handle slightly differently, but they're the same size and overall quite similar. THC are typically considered a bit more durable as RHC is a little more prone to chipping.

There are 36mm Paulson chips, but they aren't the same.

The hat/cane on 36mm chips are actually different than on RHCs, The hats are not as close to the edge as RHCs, and they have tapered sides, and the canes alternate, so they are also known as A(lternating)HCs. For comparison, here's a pic by @UniLover of AHCs:

Pic by @horseshoez. You can see one of the hats touches the edge of the chip, which would make it look like it has a fleabite when viewed from the side.

AHC mold looks better than RHC to me, wish they had them on 39mm chips.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I just thought if there was no outer ring then it was RHC. In your opinion what is the best variation?

Technically both Tigers & RPC aren't all THC. Both have IHC & the RPC have FHC too.

Very oddly, my casino Horseshoe Tunica has THC for all denoms. Too bad they are beat to absolute hell.
