Bittersweet but ends happy.
This is my first year without dad on Father’s Day. Just got off the phone with a wonderful, life-long friend who lost his dad 2 years ago. Life has a way of blessing you with beautiful memories, companionship, and love among the hardships that come our way. So very fortunate for the times he and I shared and the beautiful memories yet to be made.

Post 2: I'm late, but I have no kids, and I'm not after any prizes, anyway, so here goes 
:

... and Post 3, a memory:
My Dad was at least a pack-a-day smoker into his fifties, and his damaged lungs eventually killed him. He fought to make it into the 21st century, and died around 6 am on New Year's Day, 2000.
I wore a tie to his funeral, and have never worn one since -- and I never will. An odd tribute, but it works for me.
On the beach at Wildwood, NJ, with my sister:

I have run random numbers to thin out the field to 10 and Miles has randomly assigned each of you a car. We will be running them down his track. The car that goes the furthest wins 1st choice of the prizes, 2nd gets 2nd choice etc. Top four get prizes.

Hey, I had my eyes on those yellow chips before Miles did. What also hurts I that I'm actually looking for a Dunes 43mm 1k for a card capper so if you have any more you or @chrismurda would be willing to sell to fund Miles' chipping habit I'm all ears!
