After quite a few transactions, I finally have a set of the ES secondaries that I'm very happy with. I knew I would end up with extras, and thankfully there are enough to sell an actual playable set of these chips. The proceeds from this sale are going to a new poker table from Chanman Tables, something I've been wanting to do for some time.
I've had a hard time deciding how I want to offer these chips, as the prices I paid have been all over the place. There aren't that many out there, and I believe this might be the first playable set of these to ever hit the classifieds (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I thought about putting them up for sale and asking for offers, but I think an auction might be the best way to offer these up. I'm also a little on the fence about releasing any of these, but I just know I'll never host enough people to use all of the chips, and it would be better if they get played with.
Breakdown:
T25 x 80
T100 x 100 (teal spots)
T500 x 50
T1k x 50
T5k x 10
T25k x 5
T100k x 5
300 total
Obviously with a set this size, it won't be for big tournaments, but the breakdown is perfect for a 6-max tourney. There should be enough chips for color ups of the lower denoms if desired. The following breakdown is what I would use for T10k 6-max:
T25 x 12
T100 x 12
T500 x 5
T1k x 6
I will listen to any reasonable offers for buy-it-now sale prior to any bids, but that option disappears once there is a valid bid on the auction
If the winning bidder has Aurora Star $20 chips to trade, I would take some in trade along with the cash
