Disappearing PMs (4 Viewers)

I’ve had a few PMs simply disappear on me, in the last 24hrs.

Has anyone else experienced this? Bizarre and unsettling.

I’m not joking around here. I received a particular PM, and that PM, and my response to it, are no longer visible. They were there, and then, they were gone.

I know we had a site reset which erased a few hours. There is a thread by Tommy on it.

Essentially, @Tommy unplugged the server, blew on it, and plugged it back in.

What a memory lane blast! It’s amazing how blowing on the games cartridge end, would actually work, or at least it seemed to.

I can still remember the day when going from the Atari 2600 to the NES. Many years later, I read that the initial Japanese NES version did not have that VCR style mechanism. That was done purposely for the US Market only.
