Dilemma Bud Jones or Majestic (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm new here and seek some advice.
For our cash game we need 500 chips: 400x1 and 100x5.
I have to choose between Majestics or Bud Jones for the same price.
Can't make up my mind. Can someone explain why I should prefer 1 above the other?
Bought some sample sets:

Best to get samples of both and get what you like better. They are two different materials and pretty different feels to each. I have a set of both and like em both!

It's really a matter of your own taste. Sound, feel, color, pattern. I really like the Majestic chips, still on my shortlist for compiling a large cash game set. But for me, the Bud Jones chips are a bit more iconic, a bit more collectable long term, and will probably hold some value if you ever want to sell them to move on to another set.

For the same price, I’d personally go with the V6 Bud Jones if there are enough available for your game. Those were built to be more durable and BJ chips generally hold their value better, though I am not familiar with the respective markets for these particular chipsets. The Majestics will probably be easier to find additional chips if you ever need to add on.

Bud Jones are casino grade chips, and in this case actual former casino chips. Majestics are neither, they were made in China for the masses.

I think you should pick the chips YOU like. If you like the colors of the Majestics, get those and enjoy them.

Just understand the quality of the chip you are purchasing.

You will not regret buying the Bud Jones chips. The colors are more vibrant and they are constructed to last.
