I’ve taken on some new projects recently, so I need to clear out some shelf space. And regrettably, this is one of the sets that needs to go to make room for the new.

Up for sale is my 1000 chip custom (milled/murdered and relabeled except for $1s) Circus Circus California color cash set.

$2700 $2650 $2600 $2500 shipped in a medium flat rate box. US shipping addresses only.

$.50 x 100 (milled fuschia solids)
$1 x 300 (aurora star $1s; not yet murdered/labeled)
$5 x 440 (milled Avalon $1 C&J hat and cane chips)
$20 x 140 (milled Paulson hot stamps)
$100 x 20 (murdered silver sevens $1s)

Labels are @Gear ’s textured laminate labels. Chips are used but still in nice shape. But see pictures for details:

If you’ve seen some of my prior posts on the home game pr0n thread of this set in action, I originally used Sam’s Town $1s as the $1. But I traded those chips away in order to be able to complete another set. And I always felt like the aurora star $1 works well in this lineup, with three spots (instead of the four on the Sam’s Town chip). But I have not yet murdered or relabeled these new $1s.

This was the plan (label temporarily placed on top of intact inlay on the $1):

Buyer will get the spare labels I have if they want to keep the set as a circus circus set but will need to order more labels to relabel all 300 chips (buyer has my permission to use the label art to order more labels).

I also briefly considered relabeling the whole set as a retro flamingo or the mint set since the five looks a lot like those old chips:

But other projects have pushed this to the side and I need to clear shelf space.

I’d prefer for this set to stay in tact, but I guess I’ll split if everything is claimed.

Split prices (buyer pays shipping):

$.50 - $275/rack
$1 - $300/rack
$5 - $250/rack
$20 - $375/rack or $75/barrel
$100 - $40/barrel

Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional pictures. Thanks.

Nice.
What were the original $20 312 chips.

I can’t remember if some of them had a horse stamp on them. I feel like I milled some horse head stamps but it’s been several years and I can’t recall if these chips were all the same or if they had different stamps.

Cool set GWLS - what were the $5s originally? Are those C&J or is it just because they look like the Mint $5s?

Is anything happening with regards to a split on these? I would be interested in the 2nd and 3rd rows on the right in the top photo, depending on price. So 140 of the $5s and 60 of the $20s.

I’m happy to split if all (or at least most) chips are claimed but we aren’t there yet.

Price dropped. This set is now available for an average price of $2.50/chip. In California colors.....

I do have someone who is interested in the $20s. If anyone takes the fives, I will split this up and sell off the $1s separately. Otherwise, I am not willing to split.

Thanks.
