These are the chips where the entire face is covered by an inlay correct?

Do you mean where the inlay is wider than the central circle? Eg. Fan of Cards? These inlays are the normal size and contained within the center, as in not touching the top hat/cane on the rim.

I'm sorry I was looking at the $1's closely and it sure looks like they are the odd variation of CP where the entire face is covered by the inlay. And I thought those also had a starburst cancellation.

Yeah, of course they are. @Innoruuk maybe you don’t know what you have here - they’re pretty unique for Paulsons because the inlays cover the entire faces of the chips. The only expose clay is on the rolling edges. And yes, they were all hit with a starburst cancellation hot stamp, which somebody has removed.

I’ve seen these a few times and wonder what was going on with them. You know if this was an attempt to stop degradation of the chips when riffling?

Could these chips have the whole murdered in this case?
