Chip set brainstorming (1 Viewer)

So I recently upgraded from Monte Carlos to Paulsons and have a fully functional 400 count chipset for my home game I host usually once a month. I'm definitely getting ahead of myself, but I've been thinking about what possible changes I would make if and when the right opportunity came up.

My current bank is $725 which is plenty for my 0.25/0.5 home game. We've never had more than $500 in play and it's pretty relaxed as of now.

Chips are 0.25/1/5 in qty 100/200/100.

Now, I'm not thrilled with the $5, just because I think it is kinda plain, but I could see a hot stamped $1 looking really good in the lineup.

This is where I could use some opinions or maybe help from PCF. Does anyone have examples of $1 denom hot stamps they like or just think look cool?

Second question: specifically for chippers in the Vegas area or who frequent the Vegas area that can give me more insight on harvesting specific chips. I go down usually once a year and have collected singles from various casinos like many people do.

Here are some that I like and would potentially attempt to harvest.

(Honorable mention Tropicana.. I would ask if anyone has some racks of these but I doubt I'd be willing to pay what they are probably worth now that it's closed)

My plan would be to just pick one and play craps until I filtered out a couple racks of the hot stamps, but if I recall these were kinda hard to get even in the first place. Mostly because there were more labeled chips than hot stamps. Anyone know if these are specifically from a limited run or particularly scarce? Do any of these have poker rooms I could harvest in?

Tropicana will be pricey as you mentioned, but I see where you like the blue/pink pips to transition between frac & $5.
Your frac is blue so I'd pass on Park MGM or any other blue base $1. I'm not a fan of NY NY because of the light & dark blue pips.
If you strike out harvesting you could get a harvester like @djmarc to get you 2 racks of just about any casino chip you like. He sorts out only the best and cleans them up too.

I also considered the possibility of paying a PCF member who does harvesting out there, anyone willing to feel free to PM me and we can discuss. there is a part of me too that thinks it would be fun to harvest and eventually build out a full set i collected on my own. but there is a lot of time and plenty of chips for that.

i agree with the horseshoe chip. the orange accents look good on both the red and blue.

the tropicana was where I stayed at my first time in Vegas, there are some good stories and memories from that trip that would make having the chips even more special. idk if someone has these chips let me know your price. maybe i'll win the lottery tomorrow and you catch me feeling sentimental

I've been keeping an eye out for $5, just seems like all the one's i end up really liking are $$$ and the $1 get used more in my game than any other chip.
