Yes, there is no point in beating a dead horse.
I bought China clay when they 1st came out. I think it was Palm Imports.
The smell was toxic and I sold them off immediately.
I am sure they had lead in them, but not for weight, just to hinder the other toxins from leaching out and staining the felt..

I watched some youtube videos on the new Olympus CC and i believe hobbyphilic mentioned they don't really have that strong smell unless you stick the chip up your nose like a kid with a matchbox car. I haven't ventured into CC yet but this is a big hesitation for me since I'm pretty sensitive to that BO smell. It's why i stay away from board game stores and anything Warhammer 40k...
