Well, a few days ago was my 1-year anniversary of PCF membership. I want to thank everybody here for your patience and kindness in teaching me, a complete noob, about the ins and outs of chipping, home poker, and online community spirit. I would like to celebrate this special day with a small series of auctions. Pardon me while I make make a brief explanation.

I have tried my best to be up-front about my fundraising efforts - I will be organizing my next casino charity event in February. I am currently gathering funds to see if I can purchase a real honest-to-goodness used 0/00 roulette wheel (got my eye on one in a private sale right now), but I'm a little bit short because of my need to turn over chip inventory. I've been looking for a reasonable deal on a wheel for some time, and I think this potential acquisition will help to enhance not only my own fundraising, but also the efforts of others around me for their fundraising endeavours as well (I'm volunteering for two more hospital-related events in the first half of next year). And it will also give @T_Chan a bit of a break because I'm always mooching off his wheel

I am also very cognizant of the heartbreaking story of @AfterTheFact 's extended family and their recent tragedy and their ongoing efforts to face a long road to recovery, not least of which are immediate medical bills. Hopefully I can contribute in my own small way to the greater spirit of this community that has rallied to fundraise for this most noble cause.

Please feel free to ask questions in the auction thread.

*******

For your consideration, we have 100 Paulson chips from the fantasy Scandia Casino line. 99 of the chips are $5 denom and 1 is of the $500. Build on or start your collection of this lovely chip series! These chips are in Excellent/Near Mint condition. They have all be ultrasonically cleaned, but not oiled.

Starting bid for the 100-chip lot will be $150. Every dollar of the final winning bid above $150 will be donated to the GoFundMe campaign to help @AfterTheFact 's family (I will make the payment myself once total funds are gathered). Winning bidder will be responsible for shipping. Willing to combine shipping with any other auctions or sales of my offerings here on PCF.

Feel free to ask questions in the auction thread.

Are these THC or Web? all the other pics i see have 4 sets of spots and not 3?

They are all THC mold.

That is interesting, isn't it, with the 3-spot rather than the 4-spot? This must mean this is a rarer version of the Scandia $5s, then. Or almost an entire rack of error chips. The edge spot colours look to be exactly the same (Showboat Grey/Plum).

Edit: It looks like these do legitimately exist, they must be rarer than the "regular" 4-spot ones. Maybe these were done in order to further differentiate them from the CDI98 $5 chip.
