I'm becoming more and more fond of ceramic chips.
I could do custom with such an ease and with not so big of a price tag.
I've been looking at lots of Paulson's popping up in the forum, and it hurts me that knowing that I'm not gonna be able to afford them haha.

They’re certainly more affordable and the possibility to go fully custom obviously is added value. Make sure you get samples first though. Ceramics are great imo but they’re nothing like Paulsons et al and not everyone likes them.

Ceramic chips are great. I love my custom sets and I just added on to bring my cash set up to spread four tables. There are some fantastic designs out there and they are very economically priced.

Agree with Eriks, ceramics is great and we can have a lot fun with on custom chips but nothing to compare with paulson, trk, bcc, matsui or bg chips ,song and felling are very different.
And there is a lot of different ceramics chips. Bg ceramics chips are the best from far in my opinion and we can t compare them with others ceramic chips.

Agreed, B&G are the best by far but not easy to find and not customizable. Chipco is second but same thing there.

I was really pleasantly surprised over how nice the brpropoker ceramics were. I would definitely turn to there for custom ceramics. Sunfly is another good option.

I am a Paulson/clay guy at heart, but the cost can be prohibitive. I went with 43mm ceramics for my custom limit set and I must say I love them. The added weight of the bigger chips makes a huge difference in how they feel and sound.

For under $1/chip (because of sale and volume discounts) they are an incredible value option.

Look, most of the forum here at PCF will tell you Paulsons are the best. I personally think that while Paulson chips may be better, they are not "as much better" as the cost to acquire them when compared to ceramics. Ceramics give you (IMHO) the best "bang for the buck".

Sunflys hybrids (polyinno) are some of my favorite chips. BRPros artwork in their full face chips, like DDLM, is stunning. Look, I'm a Paulson guy, but the fact that I have plenty of ceramic sets in my collection shows that they're definitely some of the best chips out there.

Ceramics are great. And everybody’s entitled to their tastes, but I’m always left scratching my head when people say they hate ceramics.
Maybe because I’m so used to playing with ceramics in some of the local poker rooms. You play enough 8-10 hour tournaments with ceramics, and you’ll at least get used to them, if not like them. Unless they’re crap ceramics. But if you’re following people’s recommendations here, you’re not getting crazy ceramics.

The BRPros are the way to go, if you can get them on sale. I’ve handled most of the good ones and I’d put the brPos right up there with any - I own a small set of their DDLMs. Chipcos were the standard, but they’re gone now. Totally worth buying a good old set, but when they start to look worn, just leave them alone, unless they’re almost free.
The Sunfly hybrids are very cool, but they always felt a bit more plasticky to me, especially the 39mm ones.
Bottom line, I’d put good ceramics over worn Paulson RHCs any day.

Ceramic chips are great! ChipCos are the nut ceramics, but unfortunately are no longer available in customs. What's printed and available in the wild are amazing. Additionally, even with custom clays there are many abnormalities that are inherent to handmade chips that are hard to accept at such a premium price.

Ceramic hybrids offer a fantastic value as well!

Ceramics are a great option.

There are creative design possibilities with ceramics that just can't be done with clay chips. Full face design. Rolling edge design.
