Near mint is the term I like to use, when they look mint, but you don’t know for sure if they are mint. I was taught that from @Josh Kifer a little while back ago :cool

This.

I recently sold two racks of Cancuns which were as new-looking and new to the touch as any chips I’ve ever owned... Really sharp edges. No evidence of use. Still kind of dusty. But I did not sell them as mint, because I couldn’t say for sure what the previous owner did with them. They might have been played once or twice for all I knew; impossible to say for sure.

So basically I’d only use the word “mint” to describe chips either direct from the factory, or at least still in original, unopened boxes.

That might seem excessive... But “minty” I think is a fair term of art for chips that appear essentially new but whose provenance is not 100% known.

They’re counterpart never showed up so have fun with those pink chips they will bring you all kinds of bad luck!!
Sorry to hear the pink are MIA after a shipping mistake Danny :(
Still hope they will find their way back to you, I have my eyes peeled on them
