Can you buy "China Clays" on Alibaba? (1 Viewer)

Hey! Just wondering if its possible to order China clays on Alibaba?

Weird the name refers to China but the only chips I can find are from Apache, which is based in the US. Shipping from them is absolutely painful (I'm in Australia)

I have family in China hence it's a lot more efficient for me to deal with Chinese suppliers. Does anyone know any stores on Alibaba that sell China Clays? Bonus points if I am able to customize.

Plenty of sellers there. However, poker stuff seems to be forbidden in China (anyone sees the irony?), so not sure Alibaba sellers would be able to ship to your family there. Check it out.

Not sure. But aren't all of them either ceramics or slugged ones advertised as clay?

There are no clay chips from China. Or pretty much anywhere else except for Maine (that will sell to the public).

@edwn How did you end up going? I'm looking for custom sets too, going through various Ali Express and other chinese makers. I figured that is where Jacks custom sets come from.

Yes it is. I've had to suck it up and pay the extra shipping but I really wanted a specific set of casino chips I got from a member here.

I've bought from Jacks before and was not impressed. Edge spots were all off. But for the price, they did the job at the time.

Have you checked out the monthly group buys? Look up Broken Arrow on the vendor page as he runs a very popular one. It may cost another US$100-200 to have them air shipped over (and a few months to produce & ship) but it might at least be worth looking into for what you get (price/quality and lots of custom options) if you're not in a rush.
