Wanted Buying buddy for Bud Jones Jack Roulettes, by the lot, barrel and/or rack (2 Viewers)

I am contemplating a large purchase of Bud Jones chips for a tournament relabel project, and I'm looking to partner with other chippers to account for all chips.

Chips are mint, Bud Jones R4, 39mm chips from Detroit Jack casino. There will be between two and four racks of each color available. Base colors are oak, mint, canary, lavender and sky blue. Here is a teaser pic from Jim's sale thread (not shown are rust and baby blue):

I'm looking for a buying buddy who is interested in 20+ racks at $30 per rack, which is below my cost. Alternatively, I would be looking for buying buddies for single racks at $40/rack and/or split racks at $10/barrel. Full racks would include a Bud Jones rack, as shown in Jim's picture. Shipping would be added to the price, but up to 4 racks would be $8. No shipping for the local boys! @detroitdad, @mike32, @Sprouty, @Boother36, @Marc Hedrick, @Azcat, @ThePunk.

@WedgeRock this is tempting. But it would be for the same reason...tournament relabel. I've never hosted a tournament, or relabeled any chips so....probably out. But the fact that they're Detroit chips is tempting.

I don't know much about this style BJ chip, but to me the real value with a chip like this is the label, because "Detroit". I don't need any of these and I'm not supposed to be buying chips anyway so I'm gonna pass but thanks for offer!

PS I could be interested in a rack of mint green and or yellow if they are laying around after the first of the year but it would only be a rack or two.

My thought is the exact same label (so it would still say 'Detroit'. I would change 'Roulette' to 'Tournament' and put the denom where the table number is. Simple and clean. I believe the labels are easily removed, so replacement should be easy.

For the record, I left them at @Sprouty's house. Bill took some of Sprouty's chips home to mail to @Perthmike, and mine got mixed in with the shipment. Bill was only trying to help, and Mike did a great job getting them back to me rather quickly.

I did however leave a Nalgene water bottle at @Azcat's house a couple weeks back. I'm wondering who bill will ship that to...
