I would trade even up 1:1 as many of my Canterbury park $1's for your San Juan Intercontinental $5's as you want/have

Any S2 should work. Do the $5s feel heavier? I think San Juan Intercontinentals are weighted and the Big Apple chips are unweighted, but I'm not certain.

I have up to 3 racks of Big Easy Casino 25s that could be relabeled as quarters. They're S2 same as your 1s.

Without weighing, they do feel slightly, but, almost unnoticeable. I don't have my scales at this house, so check them tomorrow.

Once again, blown away by the knowledge, and willingness to share that knowledge, of this forum. Thanks.

I have these bud jones….

Nice! But re the order form -- what's the relationship between Greektown and Jack's? Tnx...
Greektown was purchased a few years ago and was going to be rebranded as a Jack casino like the other Ohio casinos owned by Dan Gilbert. For whatever reason they decided against it after GPI made the chips. Jim at the Chiproom got the chips and then we did! At least that is how I remember it.

Thanks -- that purchase sounds vaguely familar, but I'd forgotten about the Jack diversion before becoming Hollywood.

It was a beautiful thing for a Detroit area guy like me. Scored these for a dream price. I have 200 of those roulettes around here somewhere too.

Ok, I'm a little green when it comes to Bud Jones, what is S2?
S2 referrs to the style of chip. Different styles have different patterns, weights, size etc. Here is a link to a reference here on this site that pretty much says it all: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/resources/bud-jones-chip-reference.79/

I would be possibly be interested in some $2 Canterbury.
I could harvest those for you. No charge for my services... you just have to pay face for the chips and for shipping. Send me a PM if you want.

Big Apple are unweighted, Intercontinental SJ & Canterbury Park are both weighted. Weighted feel better to most

I'm new at the pulling together a set thing, everything I've had has been purchased as a set. I'm kind of wanting to go the route of a mixed set with these, but, that may not be possible with Bud Jones, seeing how there appears to be so few fracs around. I guess I'm ok with doing a relabel quarter.

As far as the weight, since I'm already in with some of each, I guess its more a matter of what I can get my hands on. I guess at this point I'm looking for similar styles, preferably something in yellow, orange, pink, lavender.

For those that have messed with relabeling these, how difficult is it to get the labels off cleanly?

It is very easy. With a utility knife you can slip under an edge and pull it up. Any left over adhesive can be removed by rubbing with your thumb or with some isopropyl alcohol
