I am looking to explore new cards. I like KEM, but they didn't last. Any bridge Modiano cellulose acetate, Desjgn (Old-Modiano), Gemaco Monarch, or Cartamundi Casino - Belgium.

I have Angel cards to trade if wanted.

Bridge Jumbo or Bridge regular pips?

If Jumbo, have you tried Fournier 2826? If reg pips, the wsop's that many have talked about in here. They are cheap and apparently are fournier cards printed as bicycle plastics. I have no proof other than they do feel exactly the same to me. In any case, the Fournier's have become my new favorites. I like the flexibility of Kems, but mine have become warped and they just aren't that nice more.

Nothing else compares to the Fournier's that I have found

I've tried the WSOP 2012. Great value, but looking for more flex. I've tried KEMs, Fournier, Copag, Angel, Cartamundi, and maybe some off ones.

I want to tried out the Blackjack index on Desjgn, but I'm not sure if they are blackjack on the Desjgn (Modiano). Jumbo or Standard is fine on Desjgn. For Modiano I guess jumbo because the Spade looking like Clubs thing.

I have tried all the Design & Modiano. I would say all variations of both are less flexible than fournier. Only ones I have tried that I like the flexibility of are Kem, Copag & Fournier. Of those 3, I like the Fournier the best

According to Dix's flex chart Desjgn (Modiano)/ Modiano (exc. Platinum and Element) are on the set level. This seems a bit odd with your comment.

I guess I am comparing to the newer desjgn which are for sure thicker and stiffer than the others we are talking about.

Modiano's are nice for sure. I have some Modiano Platinum and from my memory, I would say that they are for sure stiffer than the fourniers, but I guess I could do a little test to be sure.

I will report back

I've been using Dix's resource and it's been accurate with all the cards I checked.

For desjgn, I was thinking of their newer offerings, which are made by Del Negro and are for sure stiffer than the older (Modiano made) ones

Sorry, my mistake. I just spent some time shuffling both my Modiano Platinum and the Fournier 2826. 52 cards of Fournier = same thickness of 51 Modiano so the Modiano's are ever so slightly thicker. Not much to be sure, but just a little. Pretty much same as far as flexibility when shuffling. Modiano's are super nice if you like Poker size. If they made the same cards in Bridge Jumbo I would be all over them.

Yeah it's a bit of research. Now I'm confused on which Modiano are acetate. The other Dix thread is discusses it.

These are also rebranded Modiano platinum
